Intra-Company Transfer Work Visas/ Permits South Africa Requirements:

Employees wishing to immigrate to South Africa on grounds of an intra-company transfer, are viewed by the Department of Home Affairs as a temporary South African residents and therefore their visas will only be valid for a period of 4 years.

The employee will need to provide an employment contract from the company. This contract must confirm employment of no less than 6 months. The employer must be able to provide a plan that will be set in motion to create a transfer of skills between the employee and his/her colleagues.

This plan must include some form of training. Please note that the employee will not be able to apply for a Permanent Residency Permit under this category.

Take note that: This visa cannot be extended or renewed and an individual that would like to change their status can only do so from their country of origin.
